SSC CGL 2026 eligibility

The official CGL 2026 notice sets post-specific age limits, age-relaxation rules and educational qualifications. Age is calculated as of 1 August 2026 for the age bands stated in the notice. Depending on the post, the stated age bands are 18–27, 20–30, 18–30 or 18–32 years.

A bachelor's degree is the baseline for many posts, but the notice contains exceptions and additional requirements for particular posts, including qualifications tied to statistics or other specializations.
