SSC CHSL 2026: Exam Date (Out), Application Form, Eligibility, Pattern & More

Application Procedure

1. Register

  • Visit the SSC official website and complete One-Time Registration (OTR).
  • Enter basic details, create a password, and note your registration ID.

2. Identity Verification

  • Verify details using Aadhaar / other valid ID.
  • Complete mobile and email verification through OTP.

3. Fill Application Form

  • Enter personal, educational, and contact details.
  • Select post preferences (LDC, JSA, DEO).
  • Choose exam centres as per availability.

4. Upload Documents

  • Photograph (live capture or uploaded).
  • Signature.
  • Class 12 certificate (if required).
  • Category / PwD certificate (if applicable).

5. Pay Examination Fees

  • Pay via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI.
  • After payment, download and save the application receipt.
NOTE

The entire process is online. Candidates must complete OTR before applying for SSC CHSL.

Application Correction

  • Candidates should fill details carefully.
  • SSC may provide a correction window for a limited time.
  • Corrections are allowed online only after payment of a correction fee.

Exam Slot & Centre Allocation

  • Exam date, shift, and centre are allotted by SSC.
  • Centre allocation depends on availability and administrative requirements.

Admit Card

  • Issued separately for Tier I and Tier II exams.
  • Download using registration number and password.
  • Admit card contains:
    • Candidate details
    • Exam date & shift
    • Exam centre address
  • Admit cards are not sent by post.

Test Centres & City Intimation

  • Exam centres are allotted based on preferences and availability.
  • Region-wise SSC websites release admit cards.

Candidate Responses & Answer Keys

  • SSC releases tentative answer keys after the exam.
  • Candidates can check responses and submit objections online.

Answer Keys

  • Final answer key is released after objections are reviewed.
  • Used for result preparation.

Result & Score

  • Results are declared in stages (Tier I, Tier II).
  • Merit list prepared based on final normalized scores.
  • Scorecards are available online only.
