SSC CHSL 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Age Criteria

  • Minimum age: 18 years.
  • Maximum age: 27 years.
  • Age calculated as on 1 August 2026.
  • Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per government rules.

Educational Qualification

  • Must have passed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognized board.
  • For DEO posts, candidates with Science stream (Maths) are preferred.
NOTE

Eligibility must be fulfilled as on the cut-off date. Failure to meet criteria leads to disqualification.

Nationality

  • Candidate must be:
    • Indian citizen, or
    • Subject of Nepal/Bhutan (as per SSC rules).

Number of Attempts

  • There is no restriction on the number of attempts.
  • Candidates can appear multiple times within the age limit.
