Eligibility and the 2027 cycle

UPSC has not issued or listed a separate CSE 2027 notification as of October 15, 2026. Therefore, the 2027 age limits, educational criteria, nationality provisions, category relaxations and attempt limits are not confirmed here.

For reference only, the CSE 2026 official notification contains eligibility rules for that cycle. Do not carry those rules forward as confirmed 2027 criteria. Read the full notification for the cycle in which you apply and verify any applicable service-specific requirements.

The UPSC Annual Calendar 2027 lists planned dates but is not an eligibility notification and states its dates may be altered.
